For Curious Minds

Superimposed Image From 1900

This superimposed image was accidentally made in 1900 by William J. Hall. Two separate portraits were taken, one of a woman standing and one of a woman seated. William used photographic plates of glass to capture the moments. The glass plate negatives stuck together, combining into this eerie creation.

Two pictures of a woman overlaid on top of each other.
